The Kontra 450 is a 450 cm long series of boats made of polyethylene. This series features many modifications. These boats are valued for their high resistance to mechanical impact and stability in the water. Due to these properties, they are used not only for leisure but also for spec. services. The boat can be used in inland waters (according to PRS - category D) and on the sea coast (according to PRS - category C). Also in hard-to-reach places - floodplains, as a support boat in rescue operations. KONTRA 450 is bought by anglers, leisure equipment for rent in resorts, as well as fire and rescue teams, police, nature protection and coast guard services. The boat is modular, so its equipment can be added or replaced at any time. Polyethylene is a material that is completely resistant to weather conditions, it does not absorb water, it is very durable even at low temperatures, superior to other materials such as polyester resins, PVC or wood. Extremely high impact resistance A boat made of this material will not be damaged by hitting the shore or rocks on the bottom. Polyethylene boats do not need to be painted or maintained, so even with intensive use, they remain in use for a very long time. Polyethylene itself is lighter than water, and the boat has a double layer (double bottom) and has many chambers. And the combination of a hull with side floats, like a catamaran, ensures the boat’s stability, speed and maneuverability. Even if the boat overturns or one or two holes are pierced or completely filled with water, the boat will remain floating and the crew will hold on securely to the boat at all times.
